Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Havyn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

Platform Overview

Havyn is a rental property marketplace connecting tenants, agents, and landlords in Nigeria. We facilitate property discovery, applications, lease management, and payments. Havyn is not a party to any lease agreement between tenants and property owners.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One person may not hold multiple accounts of the same role
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

Identity Verification

Agents and landlords must complete identity verification (NIN + selfie) via Smile Identity before listing properties. Tenants must complete their profile before submitting applications. Fraudulent identity information will result in immediate account termination.

Property Listings

• Agents and landlords are responsible for the accuracy of their listings
• All listings are subject to review before going live
• Fraudulent or misleading listings will be removed and may result in account suspension
• Havyn reserves the right to remove any listing at its discretion

Payments

All payments are processed through Paystack. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service. Application fees, rent payments, and subscription fees are subject to our refund policy.

Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the type of payment and the property's cancellation policy. Refund requests are reviewed within 2-3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

Subscriptions

Agent subscription plans (Basic, Professional, Premium) are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time — your benefits continue until the end of the current billing period. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle.

Lease Agreements

Lease documents generated through Havyn are agreements between the tenant and the property owner/agent. Havyn facilitates the creation and digital acceptance of leases but is not a party to these agreements.

Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false or misleading property information
• Using fake identity documents for verification
• Harassing other users
• Attempting to circumvent the platform for direct transactions
• Using automated tools to scrape listings or data

Limitation of Liability

Havyn provides the platform "as is." We are not liable for disputes between tenants and property owners, property conditions, or losses arising from the use of our platform beyond the fees paid to Havyn.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email.
